Is there a UEFA conspiracy against Chelsea?

Probably the most ourtrageous refereeing I have ever seen. Not only did we play the better football with more chances, we were also denied countless decisions including four penalty claims. I have always disliked Barca and now have further reason to, but this time it is not their diving and dirty tactics (like under Frank Rijkaard) that get to me, it’s their 3 other team mates; yes, Barca played with 14 men…

These 14 men included the starting XI, the referee, Blatter and Platini.
Ever since the Mourinho fiasco with UEFA a few years back in the Champions League, Chelsea’s relationship with the European football governing body has been strained. The countless biased and pre-mentored decisions mistakes made by the god-awful referee were very suspect. The rumours swirling around the internet are that these decisions were heavily influence by the UEFA ,who want to stop the English sides dominating Europe and have allegedly said they do not want two English teams in the CL Final (see: video below). I have no personal opinon on this, however I do find it very interesting. There is solace in knowing Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton fans not only witnessed this debacle but also know that, just like in Moscow last year, the better team went home as the losers.

potential for a Uefa conspiracy, however a bit cheap to say u didnt like Barca under Rijkaard because his team dived and had dirty tactics…even though Chelsea made their name by diving and using dirty tactics. Also i seem to remember u defeating them back in 04/05 with a foul on the keeper – dirty tactic, and with Drogba on the pitch – diver. so yes, very cheap indeed.
Also when Chelsea beat teams and are inferior the fans, players and managment always say “all that matters is the result” but when it happens to them ( with the issue of the best team being debatable) they act like hypocrites – explain?
And last year when Reina didn’t have a save to make in the semi final at Anfield and Riise scored the own goal ure fans were delighted and players celebrated like they had put in the heroic performance of their lives when in fact they hadn’t, they were appallingly bad. and u certainly werent complaining then.
so all in all no Chelsea fan, neutral, pundit, journalist or Lampard distant family relative has a leg to stand on. Most expensive team in the world made to pay for embarrassing lack of ambition away from home. away goals after all are very important :P

Well the reason I have not-so-fond memories of Barca during the rijkaard reign would be because of the red card incident @ Stamford Bridge involving del Horno and Barca player. Though I cannot remember who the player was I’m sure you can remember the dive and acting skills of the player in question that lead to our player being sent off and us ultimately losing the tie.
I would like to see where these comments are regarding ‘all that matters is that we win’ because it is not often we scrape past teams tbh. whenever a team does get one over on us, it usually is a genuine screw over by officials (eg RVP offside @ the Bridge, Arsenal win 2-1).
I cannot for the life of me remember that tie with liverpool because i am still haunted by Moscow, or maybe its my mind trying to block that whole season’s campaign lol. The only question I can ask you is, did you genuinely out play us over the two legs, and answer is most probably not. Liverpool rarely out play us. In fact Liverpool rarely out play anyone. However, Gerrard and Torres out play people :P
Your shots at us for having money etc are no longer valid, because almost every major club in the league has a billionaire owner and just because they are not so instantly successful with their money, they dont take any slack. (eg. if Man City were top you would just throw the money excuse around, but because they aren’t, you keep schtum)

well whatever your beef with the del horno card it is cancelled out due to the incident the season before. so you cant complain. also del horno was diving about just as much in that incident (just watched it, its embaressing for him, like the little kid who hit someone so pretended to hurt his arm whilst doing it so he dosent get into trouble). Also you deserved to lose over the two legs that year, and over the two legs the year before.
Ray wilkins is a big offender, although JT and lamps and Jose have all said it before. “all that matters is getting the trophy in the cabinet” uncomfortably similair to the South Koreans in the 2002 world cup “cheat and win” they cried. Win by any means and let the losers worry about it is just why chelsea are hated so much. And ure team scrapping past teams on dodgey decisions and soft goals is a pretty common occurrence if u ask me! i shall list them if u like!
And yes we did out play you home and away last year, just like we outplayed u at anfield last year and this year in the league, and out played the billionaires boys at their own patch in the quarter this year. Infact, we rarely don’t outplay you! Also Gerrard and Torres for us, Lampard and Drogba for you. whats the difference. when we had gerrard we were a “shit” one man team now we have torres we are a “shit” two man team. of course mascherano, alonso, kuyt, carragher etc dont contribute anything at all. Only one successful team in the history of football can even be close to being labeled a one man team and that was Maradonas Napoli side.
And they werent shots at u for having money, its just i expect the most expensive team in the world to show some class and play like one of the best teams. unless you want to confess in abrams millions being blown on over priced players who can just run??? Chelsea cannot buy what Barca have, they produce xavi, iniesta, messi for no money in their acadamy. face it, your team is not what abram wanted, but he is stuck with it out of shame to sell up now. Liverpools team is a fraction of ure costs yet we play with more class, more heart and more style then abrams millions can manage. 2 years ago we played barca with a team costing even less than ours does now with bellamy upfront and sissoko running round midfield and we beat them 2-1 at the nou camp and took them to anfield, dominated possesion and chances hit the woodwork 3 times and were miles better, we still lost, 1 nil, but were better, but didnt have to worry as the tactical genius benitez had got us two away goals at the nou camp, with much more limited resources than hiddink has. mayb if drogba tried aiming for the corners instead of the keeper (ala torres claaaaaaass) u might be sitting in a final.
and you are right i hope man city never manage to pilfer a long hard working established teams CL spot due to a billionaires funds cause that wouldnt be justice.
as for that clip, i gotta say its a close one between messi and del horno as to who gets the gold for most rolls.
and oh yeah now i remember, ure pitch was a disgrace for that match! wasent the first time stamford bridge was a sand pit. cheap tactics.

Chelsea have been playing negative football for far too long
come on, this theory of ‘negative football’ is non existent, all we did is what all the other teams do against us at the bridge, and put 10 men behind the ball.

Chelsea are the “best” team in England. Barcalona are the “best” team in spain. When the boltons use this tactic it is still negative football but they go To Stamford Bridge praying for a draw. Good teams should have enough self respect and shouldnt have to resort to these tactics.
Chelsea not the best team in England or they would be top which oh wait there not !!! Can’t take your chances then you’ll get nowhere at all by all means should of had one pen atleast but 4 or 5 clear cut chances wasted my solution………….get new strikers. Matt
