Romo is an up-and-coming artist from Birmingham with recent co-signs from Dexplicit, Black The Ripper, Bless Beats and Dot Rotten.  He recently released his promo Jam Your Hype which, ironically, didn’t get the hype it deserved as it was a well-polished EP featuring production from Swindle, Dexplicit, Dot Rotten and himself.  If promo is increased and the work rate maintained there’s no reason why dude can’t put Birmingham on the map and pave the way for a whole flood of successful talent to come out too.  I feel as though no one really looks outside of London when it comes to the next artist to blow (ǁ) but Romo has that crossover appeal where he can do grime, hip-hop or even that dreaded “C” word – a commercial record.
