Wiley addresses the racial war that has been happening on Twitter from when Jay Sean first contacted Eskiboy directly.  Basically it ended up with Asians being abused and throwing abuse with some comments being funny and some being very controversial (Wiley: “I will slap your mum with a hot Naan bread”).  Also, listen out for the way Wiley makes the point of showing up Bobby Friction for not having any tweets that were abusing him too. It’s a funny interview on a serious subject.

There has been some havoc over the past three days between Jay Sean’s fans and Wiley over Twitter and what started it off? A simple comment that was never replied to…

So Wiley got wound up that Jay didn’t reply back to him, which proved his point but still he ended up going off on one about how he hates people that are smug on Twitter, only to be attacked by Jay Sean’s huge fan base.

What’s all the craziness about? Long story short, one of Jay’s fans ended up calling him a “n*gga” (and apparently a whole bunch of other stuff I didn’t see), and then Wiley let rip on all of them…

One conversation (or “ethnic banter”) with another fan in particular caught my eye:

Is this ‘ethnic banter’ or is this just plain racism? It seems that a few comments begin to touch on some sensitive issues, mainly religion. I know a whole load of people have been very offended by this including the BBC Asian Network’s very own Bobby Friction with whom Wiley joined in the studio for an interview shortly after (audio at the top of the post).

Some comments touching on a more religious tone :

‘some muslim people feel more special than the normal humans but you aint u just read a different book so don’t get excited’

In case you didn’t know, Maxwell D appeared on an episode of ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’ the other day which happened to have Jamelia on one of the teams.  This is interesting because Jamelia reveals that Max tried to sell a sex story to a newspaper about her and then goes off taking side shots about his financial status and other reasons why he may of done that.  Shouts to dude apologising now though and he tries to justify explain why he did sell the story but I don’t think Jamelia is going to be so quick to forgive according to her tweets.

It all went down Sunday night outside a VMA afterparty at 1 Oak — the cop forcefully instructed Diddy to keep moving on the sidewalk … to which the record mogul replied, “Lower your f**king voice when you’re talking to me … I’m a man just like you.”  The cop then yelled back at Diddy, “I don’t give a f**k who you are.”

Diddy turned and shouted back, “I don’t give a f**k who you are either mother f**ker!”

The two men continued to yell at each other until Diddy’s entourage ripped him away.
