Nah, I’m still here. I’m lurking. I haven’t updated the site since late April for a variety of reasons with the key one being motivation. “What is your motivation?” I hear you ask? Well, quite simply, it is to bring you, my loyal readers, the latest and most interesting major and independent UK music. You may have missed the Semtex article which features in the latest VIBE Magazine issue with the 1Xtra DJ naming his site, my boys over at Team Supreme, Max’s site and of course LondonToMK as the blogs to go to if you want to break through in the UK music scene – a great honour and co-sign from the veteran DJ. This is the very reason I haven’t packed up altogether along with the fact that I drop the most UK exclusives (ask about me). Imagine you never heard ‘Champion’ all those months ago because we highlighted the leak here – it was massive. It’s this sort of impact I’ll continue to make along with trying to bring through artists you should definitely be checking out. Paying attention to what I say will not do you any harm, trust me. Shout out to Sam Khan, Awate and V.A.S. Next time, I’ll be back it’ll be more like this and with even more exclusives – fuck tags, radio rips and soundcloud streams. One other thing I refuse to do is bum lick these journalists who are using the UK scene to manipulate and gain fame – some of them are more known than some really talented artists – why!? Fuck your magazines, articles and MTV panel shows because real recognise real and the public could see right through you fake muthaluvas (c) Mystro.

In the meanwhile I’ll be chilling somewhere in Buckinghamshire, sipping Margaritas and contemplating a devastating comeback. I don’t really view anyone as competition but this well-oiled, one-man machine needs an update so watch this space. Oh, and just like the lovely people at Universal, you can continue to keep guessing who I am and what my government name is, here’s a clue… my first name is Daniel.

Just to let you know that Westwood is on from 4-7 weekdays from the ned of the month.  Are they phasing out the “Big Dawg” or is this better for him? I personally think their trying to push through Ace & Vis, MistaJam and Target to be the new top DJs there as the BBC have made it public that the demographic over at the radio is, well, kinda old.

This bottle of Opus One is low but my spirits are high my friends. I am about 2 hours away from Toronto, CA where I will be spending the next chunk of time recovering from a surgery that I now must have. I embarked on this tour with a torn ACL, MCL, and LCL and due to the events that happened the other night lord only knows what other damage I have done. On the bright side I will begin the reflecting and soul searching that its going to take to make this album and my outfit on the night I fell was crack. I will forever push myself beyond the limits despite advice and recommendations given because even with this new found success I am still the kid who wanted this more than anything in the world. Its funny when I read comments from previous fans who have lost interest because of the radio play and exposure I have. I just want to assure anyone reading that nothing has changed on my end. I refuse to get comfortable, I refuse to fall in line and follow anyone elses formulas. I still work as if So Far Gone had never dropped and I’m still trying to figure out how I’m going to gain entry to this game.
