Michael Jackson has died after going into cardiac arrest at the age of just 50.  No matter what anyone says he was one of the best, if not the best, to ever do it.  My first ever album, at the age of just six years old, was MJ’s HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I and the impact it had on me as a young kid, has lasted to this very day.  No matter what you thought of the man, you can’t deny his musical genius and his legacy as ‘The King Of Pop’ will live on forever.

R.I.P Michael, you truly were the G.O.A.T.

Earlier this year we celebrated the life of a legend, Big L, on the 10 year anniversary of his death.  Over this past weekend (May 30th), what would have been Big L’s 35th birthday, passed.  DJ Soul put together this collection of L’s work including freestyles, songs, and collabos featuring some of the dopest verses you will hear in life.  Says Soul of the project: “… I dropped this online mix to remind people why he was one of the illest.  Shouts to Lord Finesse, DJ Premier, Rich King & the brother of Big L for their assistance and allowing the project to happen.”
